Solar power Instructions with video

Ran across what I think is a good system to add Solar power to your rig.   The solar kit is made by Go-POWER.  I  have purchased one of their inverters and like it very much.

I did not shop around for price.  You may find a better price on a different system.  I'm only showing this as it does a good job of explaining the components of a Solar kit for your RV.   The video is from YouTube and is very well done.

Too much time on my hands

Ok,  I admit I'm pretty crazy about this camping stuff so I can't help  but improve (sometimes) my stuff.   I added Reflectix insulation to my cooler.  The board insert is foam board wrapped in Reflectix.   Should help keep my ice a little longer?

The beauty of Tennessee

Enjoyed another 4 day trip with the Van dwellers group.  On the way out stopped to take a few pics of the scenery.  Tennessee may be lacking in Football, Corn bread and BBQ but they have some beautiful land.

I fought the Pole and the Pole Won

OOPS

Memorial day weekend and I had a backing up tragety.    First the pole that caused it.  Bad Pole...  Bad Pole

Then the dent.  Not a big one but still a dent.

Thankfully no damage to my rig and I think I can straighten out my cargo carrier a little.  Ego was dented a little but what can you do?

Mileage Check

Drove 128 miles in the N. GA mountains.  Took 8.8 gallons of diesel. That's 14.54 mpg.  Not real good but not too bad.

Coosawattee River Resort Ellijay, GA

Spent a very nice 4 days camping with my friend Karen who is the camp host at FishTrap campgrounds.

Good weather with a bit of rain and as always lots of good food.   Was able to cruise around Ellijay and enjoy the sites.   Campground was basically empty with just a few day campers.
